Before we put an end to this year, I decided to take a look back at which articles caught most of your attention in 2011. Topics on the PSOM varied from sports to relationships to parenting to technology (you get what varied means), so I was interested to see which articles garnered that most attention.
Here is a list of the Top 3 Most Popular Articles on PSOM in 2011:
Which article was your favourite?
The number one article involved (surprise, surprise) relationships, and the differences between men and women in dealing with breakups. The other two articles both touched on current events at the time, including an inappropriate lingerie line for young girls, and the infamous riots in Vancouver after game 7 in the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs.
Plans for 2012
Based on your feedback, I will continue writing about current events in 2012. Additionally, there will be an increase in articles that focus on romantic relationships, as well as articles focused on self-help strategies, personal well-being, and mental health. So stay tuned!
I started this site in March 2011 with the hopes of sharing a psychological perspective on different aspects of our lives. Developing this site, and writing articles has been a rewarding process for me. I have connected with wonderful individuals both in the profession of psychology, and those of you who just have an interest in learning more about yourself, and the world. I want to thank you all for taking the time out of your busy days to read my perspective; for supporting my Facebook page and following me on Twitter; and for sharing these articles with your friends and colleagues.
I hope that you will continue to support Psych State of Mind and Change Your Perspective in 2012.
